Training on business plan design

Training on business plan design

The volunteer will be responsible for supporting FLO’s team in the design of a business plan for a prospective honey company.

Description

Objectifs

In the Kratie province of Cambodia, local communities living in forested areas face limited support. The Forests and Livelihood Organization (FLO) is dedicated to enhancing the livelihoods of these communities through its alternative Livelihood Development program, with a specific focus on sustainable Non-Timber Forest Products. One such product that holds promise as a source of income for the communities is wild honey.

FLO aims to assist the communities in establishing a company to market and sell the honey. However, they lack knowledge of the process involved in starting a social enterprise.
To strengthen their technical and program capacities, FLO’s team requires training in business plan development.

The involvement of Planète Urgence volunteers is crucial as FLO lacks the necessary expertise for this undertaking and lacks the financial resources to hire a professional trainer
