Why commit to forests?
Forests are one of the most effective solutions for combating the effects of climate change and biodiversity loss, while improving the quality of life for local populations. For a company or community, committing to forests therefore guarantees a strong social and environmental return on investment.

Alongside the oceans, forests are the most important ecosystem for effectively combating climate change: they store carbon from the atmosphere and regulate the climate, the water cycle, and soil fertility.

Here is an overview of the main ways you can get involved.
Financial support for our projects: financial sponsorship
You can contribute directly to the funding of our conservation, restoration and environmental awareness initiatives. Several options are available:
- Unrestricted donation: allocated to all our missions, to take action where the need is greatest.
- Geographical targeting: funding for a project in a specific area (Indonesia, Benin, Madagascar, etc.).
- ‘€1 = 1 tree planted’ programme: direct contribution to reforestation and the restoration of forest ecosystems.
- Solidarity rounding: micro-donations at the checkout or from salaries, in partnership with your customers or employees.
- 1% for the Planet membership: integration of our projects into your commitment to donate 1% of your turnover to environmental causes.
Mobilise your talents: corporate volunteering
Your employees have valuable expertise. By making their skills available to Planète Urgence, you directly strengthen the impact of our projects.
Through Congé Solidaire®: international volunteering assignments during employees’ holidays:
- biodiversity mission: go into the field to participate in biodiversity monitoring and research
- adult training: strengthen the capacities of our local partners (project management, communication, financial management, HR, etc.)
Through skills sponsorship: mobilising an employee for a dedicated period of time to support our teams or partners (community outreach, business development, project management, etc.).
Integrate climate and biodiversity contributions into your strategy
With our Climate Philanthropy programme, we support you in:
- measuring the impact of the projects you support (carbon sequestration over 10 years, biodiversity impact)
- promoting this contribution in your CSR communications and non-financial reports (CSRD, CDP, SBTi, BCorp)
- align your commitment with your carbon neutrality targets.

All our sponsorship programs are tax deductible!
All Planète Urgence projects can be supported through sponsorship actions. In this context, our partners can benefit from a tax reduction of 60% of the donation amount, up to a limit of 0.5% of their turnover (Article 238 bis of the French General Tax Code).
Example: for a €10,000 donation to Planète Urgence, benefit from a tax reduction of €6,000. Your donation will therefore actually cost you only €4,000!

ORANGE & SIA Partners
As part of their climate contribution, Orange and SIA Partners are developing with Planète Urgence the largest mangrove restoration project in Cameroon: the CAMERR project
DAVIDSON CONSULTING
The company supports the association’s projects in Madagascar and Indonesia as part of its climate contribution strategy. It supports the association through skills-based sponsorship and also enables its employees to participate in field missions thanks to the Congé Solidaire®.
MAZARS
Each year, Mazars offers its employees opportunities for solidarity engagement missions. They can participate in international missions to support local partner associations of Planète Urgence through the Congé Solidaire®. Since the partnership began in 2015, more than 100 employees have completed a volunteering mission!
CHRONOFLEX
Chronoflex has been a long-standing supporter of Planète Urgence by planting 100,000 trees per year on forest restoration projects in Madagascar, notably the TAPIA project, which aims to preserve and restore the endemic TAPIA forest, strengthen the resilience of local communities, and raise environmental awareness among children.
NATIXIS
Natixis is committed to a comprehensive project supporting the association’s forest restoration efforts in Madagascar and enabling its employees to strengthen local partner associations through the Congé Solidaire®. To date, over 70,000 trees have been planted, and more than 150 employees have participated in international missions.
LE PETIT VAPOTEUR
Le Petit Vapoteur supports the association by engaging its customers in forest restoration through their ‘Black Fairday’ campaign, a solidarity day that opposes Black Friday. Additionally, the company involves its employees by offering them the opportunity to participate in field missions through the Congé Solidaire® program.
CONNEXING
A small business committed for several years to Planète Urgence, Connexing supports forest restoration projects by planting 5,000 to 10,000 trees annually and sending one employee volunteer on an international mission.
