Training on multi-stakeholders and facilitation skills

Training on multi-stakeholders and facilitation skills

The volunteer will contribute to provide the strategic frameworks and practical facilitation skills needed to guide diverse groups toward collective action.

Description

Objectives

Live & Learn Cambodia (LLC) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization with strong knowledge and expertise in livelihoods, environmental governance, sustainable natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, climate change, and disaster risk reduction. Today, LLC needs volunteers to strengthen its capabilities in multi-stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills for several reasons. Engaging with diverse stakeholders is crucial for effectively addressing community challenges and fostering collaboration. Volunteers can bring fresh perspectives and expertise, helping the organization navigate complex group dynamics and ensuring that all voices are heard. Their presence will enhance the organization’s ability to design inclusive workshops, consultations, and dialogues, ultimately leading to more effective decision-making processes. By mobilizing volunteers in this area, LLC can build stronger partnerships, promote understanding among stakeholders, and drive collective action toward achieving its goals.

Action expected of the volunteer

The volunteer will support the team to:
-Analyze and map stakeholders to develop a strategic and culturally appropriate engagement plan.
-Design inclusive and results-oriented workshops, consultations, and dialogues.
-Apply a wide range of core facilitation techniques to manage group dynamics, encourage deep participation, and build consensus.
-Navigate common challenges in multi-stakeholder settings, including power imbalances and potential conflicts.

LLC founded to address the multifaceted challenges faced by many Cambodians, particularly those in rural and vulnerable situations. The organization works to combat poverty and promote sustainable development by equipping communities with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their natural resources effectively and build resilient futures.
