Civic Service mission before.<\/li>\n<li>Be a <strong>French national,<\/strong> a national of a Member State of the European Union or the European Economic Area, or have been <strong>legally resident class=\"colonne_inner  text-left\">\n<h3 class=\"vert\">Training for civic service volunteers<\/h3>\n<p>Volunteers must undergo civic and citizenship training before they can go out on the field. We call this training \u2018Formation au D\u00e9part\u2019. This takes place over three days :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Two days of theoretical training<\/strong>, led by the Plan\u00e8te Urgence team.<\/li>\n<li><strong>One day of PSC1 training<\/strong> (first aid).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n    <\/div>\n   <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"field_pow3389ba995c4c4368\" class=\"container-fluid px-0 flexible_section block_columns\">\n <div id=\"field_pow3389ba995c4c4368_inner\" class=\"container flexible_section_inner\">\n\n   <div class=\"row flexible_section_content\">\n\n   <div class=\"mb-3 mb-sm-0 col-sm-6 colonne colonne1\">\n    <div class=\"colonne_inner  text-left\">\n<h3 class=\"vert\">Remuneration<br \/>\nfor Civic Service<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>For <strong>assignments in France<\/strong>, volunteers receive an <strong>allowance of \u20ac489.59 per month<\/strong>. This is paid to the volunteer&#8217;s account by the government.<\/li>\n<li>For <strong>international assignments<\/strong>, volunteers receive an <strong>allowance of \u20ac541.17 per month<\/strong>. This is paid to the volunteer by the French government into the volunteer&#8217;s account.<\/li>\n<li>The host organisation pays the volunteer a <strong>subsistence allowance of \u20ac111.35<\/strong>. This can be paid in cash or in kind by covering accommodation and\/or food and\/or transport costs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Plan\u00e8te Urgence takes out insurance for international missions. It covers volunteers for civil liability, medical care and possible repatriation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT <\/strong>: plane tickets to and from the mission, visas and vaccinations are entirely the responsibility of the volunteer.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n   <\/div>\n   <div class=\"col-sm-6 colonne colonne2\">\n    <div class=\"colonne_inner  text-left\">\n<h3 class=\"vert\">Support :<br \/>\nthe Civic Service tutor<\/h3>\n<p>The specificity of Plan\u00e8te Urgence&#8217;s missions lies in the <strong>double tutoring<\/strong> set up.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The volunteer is accompanied on site by a tutor appointed by the host organisation.<\/li>\n<li>They are also accompanied from the Paris head office by the volunteer officer.
